integratedliving's Suszanne Lang received The Hunter Aged Care Aboriginal or Cultural Diverse Contributor of the Year Award.
The Awards highlight excellence in care in the Hunter region and acknowledge staff from all sectors of the aged care industry who do such a wonderful job on a daily basis and affect so many lives with their compassionate care.
Suszanne is employed by integratedliving as the organisation's Upper Hunter Aboriginal Case Manager. A member of the integratedliving team for the past 5 years, Suszanne has spent many years working in diverse roles supporting Aboriginal families, and has developed a deep understanding of the needs of the Aboriginal Community, in particular Aboriginal people that are ageing.
Two additional integratedliving staff were nominees in the Aged Care Staff of the Year Award (Community Category): Noelle Duncan and Marlene Auld.
