Volunteer

integratedliving

integratedliving is extremely fortunate to have more than 300 volunteers who donate their time and talents to our services undertaking a wide range of tasks.

The invaluable support provided by our trained volunteers makes a significant and positive impact on our client’s lives and the community. Volunteering with integratedliving  enables you to build new skills, meet new people, add variety to your work experience and make a difference.

Volunteers can assist in the following areas:

  1. Activity Centre Assistants
Volunteer staff assist the Activity Officer at the Activity Centre by helping clients with activities and serving meals and drinks. You can help us to provide lifestyle activities such as craft, theme days and outings to clubs, concerts and relevant cultural events.

  2. Administration Duties
Volunteer staff help with administration duties including filing, photocopying, collating, laminating and phone surveys.

  3. Drivers
Drive our 10 seater buses (or company vehicles) to pick up clients and bring them to the Activity Centre and/or return them to their homes. Also drive these vehicles on our Social Outings. Deliver frozen meals to clients.

  4. Home Visits And Respite
Volunteer staff help visit clients in their homes to provide companionship, have a cup of tea, play a game or have a chat. Home Visiting  can also include going out for a coffee. Respite is available to provide carers with a well needed break or “time out”.

  5. IT/Computer Tutor
Great opportunity to introduce our clients to the wonders of the world wide web. Volunteers teach and assist clients with how to use computers and the internet.

  6. Kitchen Helper?
Volunteer staff assist the Kitchen Supervisor with vegetable preparation preparing and plating meals at the kitchen.
