How to Apply

Once you have identified the role you wish to apply for, please review the steps below to learn more about integratedliving’s recruitment process. It is important that:

  • If you are applying for a paid position with us, click on “Employment”
  • If you are wanting to volunteer then click on “Volunteers” and please send all your applications to volunteer@integratedliving.org.au

We know your time is valuable and that applying for roles can be stressful. We will give your application due consideration and handle it confidentially and respectfully.

Our Employment Steps are straightforward and this guide will provide you with everything you need to know.

Working for Us
1. Your Application

All applicants must attend to the Selection Criteria which includes:

  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae.
  • Covering Letter – briefly addressing the selection criteria outlined in the position advertisement (maximum 2 pages).
  • Completed application forms.
  • Copies of relevant qualifications.
  • Submit your application quoting the position reference number stated in the advertisement.
2. Submitting your Application

 

You will receive an automatic response acknowledging receipt of your application if submitted by email. If received through the post, applicants will be notified by mail. All applications addressing the selection criteria will be considered and applicants will be advised of their progress.

3. Reference Checks

Prior to confirmation of employment integratedliving Australia Ltd conducts reference checks of all applicants who have had a successful interview. This process will not be conducted without first obtaining your permission.

4. Probity Checks

You need to complete the integratedliving police check form that can be downloaded from our website here as part of the application process. Under the Aged Care Act, all staff are required to have a current Federal Police Check. 100 points of identification is required – this must include current drivers license.

5. Interview Process

If you are shortlisted for an interview, you will be contacted with details of the date, time, place and the interview format. Most interviews are run as panels, with 2 or 3 people from integratedliving meeting with you.

 

6. Successful Applicants

You will be notified of your progress as each stage of the recruitment process has been finalised.

7. Unsuccessful Applicants

You will be notified accordingly by the Employment Services Team.

Volunteer with Us
1. What type of volunteering would you like to do?

Depending on what you like doing, you could drive for consumers, go on social trips, do gardening, provide low-level maintenance, deliver meals, or help with administrative duties like filing.

2. Applying to volunteer

You will need to complete a Volunteer Application Form (download here). Be aware that Government regulations stipulate that all volunteers are required to undergo a probity check (police check) prior to commencing.

3. Hearing about opportunities

A Care Services team member will be in touch within 2 weeks to inform you of what opportunities are currently available and which might suit your needs, interests and availability best.

4. Starting to volunteer

Congratulations, welcome aboard! We’ll provide you with training to get you started.  Along the way, please give any feedback to your Care Service team member as to how we can improve your volunteering experience.
