Queensland & NSW Floods Update
As you would be aware, many areas in both Queensland and New South Wales are currently affected by significant, life-threatening rainfall and flooding. Currently, the areas affected are:
Queensland:
- Fraser Coast Region
- Gympie Region
- Ipswich City
- Brisbane City
- Logan City
- City of the Gold Coast
- Noosa Shire
- Moreton Bay Region
- Sunshine Coast Region
- Lockyer Valley Region
- Toowoomba Region
- Redlands City
- Scenic Rim Region.
New South Wales:
- Tweed
- Byron
- Lismore
- Kyogle
- Ballina
- Richmond Valley
- Clarence Valley
- Coffs Harbour
- Bellingen.
As a result, we have clients and staff affected in these regions, with significant impacts on service delivery. We are working hard to support all affected clients and staff and ensure service continuity where possible. Your safety and wellbeing is, as always, our priority.
We are asking affected clients to please contact us on 1300 782 896 if you haven’t already so that we can support you. Our team is also contacting affected clients proactively. Obviously, service provision is affected in many places with road closures and significant flooding making entry impossible. In certain circumstances, services have been postponed or cancelled but we will continue to work with clients, particularly those requiring essential services, to support them.
Please be assured we have processes in place to respond to and manage emergency situations. Our team will continue to monitor the situation closely and communicate with clients as required.
