New programs and more now available across our Wellness Centres
Find out what's new with our inspiringly active Wellness Centres community
Our Wellness Centres have had a great first half of 2026 with the rollout of their Strong Steps balance program. This program is now available in Ballina, Cairns, Muswellbrook and Newcastle, as well as in our virtual space.
Strong Steps focuses on falls prevention. It is designed to improve the balance, strength and mobility of participants, helping people feel more confident in their everyday activities. The program combines educational and practical sessions, delivered by our exercise physiologists, alongside our broader Allied Health team. Toowoomba, Launceston and Gorokan Centres are set to launch the program later this year.
Cairns has also launched new gym classes in an additional circuit space, enabling the popular Centre to welcome more new clients to their friendly community. Toowoomba and Gorokan Centres recently welcomed Allied Health Assistants. These new team members will help support the growing number of clients enjoying these thriving Centres.
Earlier in the year, everyone enjoyed our Olympic Gym Challenge, where our exercise team encouraged friendly competition among participants through a series of fun, Olympic‑inspired events they had specially crafted. We also celebrated Seniors Month with the theme ‘Live Life in Colour’.
All of our Wellness Centres currently have capacity to welcome new Support at Home clients. If you don’t live near one of our locations, you can still benefit from our programs through our virtual offerings.
