Key features of Support at Home

Support at Home is designed to make it easier for you to stay safe, well and independent at home — now and as your needs change.

Funding levels

Eight levels of funding, ranging from $11,000 up to $78,000 per year, depending on your care needs.

Service categories

  • Clinical Services – nursing, allied health and care management to support your health and wellbeing.
  • Independence Services – help with daily routines such as showering, dressing, taking medication and shopping.
  • Everyday Living Services – support to keep your home safe and comfortable, such as cleaning or gardening.

Clinical services are fully funded by the government. You may have to pay a contribution for Independence and Everyday Living services depending on when your package was approved, and personal circumstances. Our team can help you understand what contributions you may need to make.

Short-term pathways*

  • Restorative Care Pathway can help you regain independence after an injury or illness, providing you with 12-16 weeks of intensive, coordinated care. 
  • Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) Scheme provides funding to access assistive technology and home modifications, without needing to save up funds from your ongoing Support at Home budget
