Michael Steine
Chief Information Officer
Michael joins integratedliving as our Chief Information Officer to oversee Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, Applications Portfolio Management and ICT Operations and other functions.
With over 25 years of work experience in the healthcare sector, Michael has worked on numerous digital health initiatives in countries including Australia, New Zealand, USA, Ireland, Singapore, and Hong Kong. An expert in enterprise architecture, governance and interoperability; he has extensive experience in the development of digital health standards as past chair of Standards Australia’s Patient Administration committee and member of ISO TC215 Health Informatics and HL7 committees on topics such as Information Security, Identity Management, Medications Management and Public Health.
He has provided a significant contribution to Australia’s digital health landscape having played a key role in the establishment of national healthcare identifiers, secure messaging, and electronic prescribing standards. In a brief hiatus from healthcare, Michael also led the team that provided the Broadcast Network for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, ensuring a cumulative global audience of 1.5 billion were able to experience 1,100 hours of live television from across venues in and around the Gold Coast.
Having studied Business and Information Technology at Queensland University of Technology, his career goal is to see information technology realise its potential to benefit industries and advance community safety, harmony, and prosperity through digital transformation.
