Sarah Marciano

Executive Director – Governance and Risk

Sarah has extensive experience in quality & safety, spanning 25 years as a Registered Nurse, specialising in palliative and aged care in the UK and Australia, with the last 15 years in aged care as the Senior Clinician and Director of Clinical Services.

Sarah has successfully managed a significant number of reaccreditations, support contacts by Aged Care Quality Agency, introduced new models of care and service delivery design, developed clinical governance frameworks, internal audit frameworks, critical incident management, internal and external complaint management, risk management, and chaired clinical governance committees as well as held membership of external stakeholder committees. 

Sarah has been a clinical teacher at Southern Cross University and more recently experienced working as Child Protection and Wellbeing Lead to ensure child safe standards were integrated within organisational childcare services, following the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Abuse. 

Sarah has qualifications in Teaching & Assessing in Clinical Practice; Project Management; Leadership & Management; Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems; and specialist professional development.

Sarah’s passion is for providing innovative and customer centric services.
