Latest news from our Wellness Centres

Written by Jehanne Mustart, Senior Manager - Wellness Business with integratedliving

Updates from across our eight regional Wellness Centres

Much of 2025 has been focused on preparing our Wellness Centres and Virtual Wellness Services for the Support at Home (SAH) reforms. Our team has worked hard to ensure we have the capacity to support both SAH clients and those accessing other funding streams.

In Cairns, we’re excited to be launching a new circuit space, enabling us to welcome more clients. While Toowoomba Wellness Centre has expanded its reach and the team is now delivering external services to retirement villages and conducting home visits.

The Ballina Wellness Centre has also been engaged in our Village Home Care program, in which integratedliving offers a range of services to residents in retirement villages. In Ballina, we have been welcoming St Andrew’s Residential Aged Care clients and our team has launched a dedicated exercise class there and other local retirement villages, as well as expanding home visits to Evans Head.

Raymond Terrace has launched a new Parkinson’s Neuro Class in partnership with our Allied Health Team, joining other Centres that run Parkinson’s-specific programs. Meanwhile, Newcastle’s Wallsend Centre has introduced the Strong Steps program which focuses on strength, balance and falls prevention. This well-received initiative is being rolled out to other Centres and virtual programs.

In the Hunter and Central Coast regions, our smaller Centres at Raymond Terrace, Muswellbrook and Gorokan continue to have capacity for more clients. They welcome new client referrals to come and join their wonderful communities.

Finally, our Launceston Wellness Centre in Tasmania recently partnered with Eureka Retirement Village to host a Let’s Have a Conversation coffee morning. The event was a great success. All our Centres offer regular Let’s Have a Conversation gatherings on topics relevant to senior people living in regional Australia.
