What does a support worker role involve?
The support worker role is about empowering our clients to maintain their independence, dignity, and well-being. You’ll provide a variety of in-home and community-based services tailored to each individual's needs.
As a home care support worker, your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with personal care (e.g., showering, grooming)
- Helping with light domestic duties (e.g., cleaning, laundry)
- Providing social support and companionship
- Transporting clients to appointments or social outings
- Preparing meals or assisting with nutrition and hydration
- Encouraging wellness, mobility, and connection to community services

Who we're looking for
We’re seeking caring individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You don’t need years of experience — just a passion for helping people live better lives.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A genuine desire to work with older people in the community
- Availability between 7am – 7pm, Monday to Friday (with some weekend availability)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or similar) – don’t worry if you don’t have one, we value experience and transferable skills and encourage you to apply
- A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children or Working with Vulnerable People Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Full COVID-19 vaccination (3 doses), in line with our policy
