At our Wellness Centres, the equipment, the classes and the staff are all tailored to best assist you to reach your health goals.
Suited to all fitness levels, our health and wellness programs will help you strengthen your muscles and bones, as well as improve your overall balance, confidence and wellbeing.

What activities does the program include?
Our skilled and friendly Wellness Centre instructors will guide you confidently through your individualised program, teaching you how to best utilise the equipment to maximise resistance, build strength and gain improvements over time.
They will provide multiple layers of support to assist you to establish an exercise program that is the right fit for you and will help you reach your goals. Wellness Centre gym and circuit classes are conducted at our Wellness Centres. They focus on building strength, mobility, fitness and overall health and wellbeing in small group classes.
Once assessed by an exercise physiologist, clients will receive a personalised program to complete in their scheduled class time.

- You need to be aged over 65 or over 50 for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders.

Our exercise classes are run by accredited Exercise Physiologists (Allied Health Professionals) with assistance from qualified Personal Trainers, who specialise in exercise and movement for the prevention and management of chronic diseases, injuries and complex medical conditions.
Yes, this service can be aligned with your values and preferences. Our Wellness Centre coordinators and Exercise Physiologists will take the time to learn your individual care needs to ensure they're considered when making their recommendations. They will also encourage you to set meaningful goals and help you to achieve them. You can also opt to have your preferred support person included during the consultations, or access interpreting services if required.
Our exercise classes are designed specifically to help each individual reach their goals. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned exerciser, you will benefit from our Wellness Centre programs and services.
An initial assessment will be conducted with one of our Exercise Physiologists to discuss your health condition and exercise background. Together, we will design an exercise program to help you reach your goals and we have a variety of equipment that can be modified for varying needs.

Our virtual services are perfect for anyone who cannot physically attend classes at our Wellness Centre. We have online options for our Movement Classes, Stretch and Flow and Exercise Physiology, designed specifically for you to complete in the comfort of your own home with ongoing coaching calls with our exercise staff. Unfortunately no. Please ensure that you have access to Zoom on your personal device and have internet connection before commencing your virtual exercise class with us. Do not hesitate to reach out if you need any help, our staff will be able to assist you getting set up and ensure that your device is working properly before we start the activity.
Yes, all equipment will be provided to you during your exercise classes at the Wellness Centre. We do not provide mobility aids, but you may be able to access this equipment separately through your government funding package. Reach out to our centre coordinators or head across to our Aids and Sensors page to learn more.
No, these will need to be returned to the centre after every exercise class.
