Whether you enjoy a sing-a-long, prefer arts and crafts, or love pottering in the garden, our activities in aged care include a wide range of fun and enriching classes. For those keen to keep their mind and feet moving, our Moto Tiles sessions improve mobility and balance. Others might enjoy learning a new language or exploring a country ‘virtually’- all part of our adult day centre experience.

These recreational activities for seniors are also suitable for those living with dementia, helping to encourage social connections and promote a happier, more relaxed mood.

When you visit one of our enriching Activity Centres, you can take part in any of our fun and engaging recreational activities for seniors. Each session is facilitated by our professional and friendly team members, who ensure everyone participates to the best of their ability and above all, enjoys themselves!

Eligibility criteria*

  • You need to be aged over 65 or over 50 for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders.
  • Some services may be available to people aged under 65.
  • To access this service online, you will need an internet connection and a computer or tablet (call us to learn how we can provide these for you).

Our Activity Centres support older people who live at home and would benefit from social connection, meaningful activities and support to maintain their independence.

On the Central Coast, our Activity Centres provide specialised support for people living with dementia. In the Hunter, our Activity Centre is open to older people living at home and is not dementia-specific.

Programs and activities are tailored to each person’s needs, interests and abilities, providing a welcoming environment to connect with others, build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences.

Our activities and programs are run by our friendly activity officers and volunteers who are passionate about supporting your wellbeing and ensuring that you enjoy the activities, discover new friendships and stay connected to your community.

integratedliving operates Activity Centres across regional New South Wales including Gorokan, Gosford and Woy Woy on the Central Coast, and Raymond Terrace in the Hunter region.

Yes, all of our Activity Centres are wheelchair accessible, with the right infrastructure in place so everyone can move around comfortably and take part.

We can provide transport for participants, depending on their funding type. Please note that a transport fee may apply.

Yes. We offer activities designed for people living across different stages of dementia, and our professional team is trained to ensure everyone engages with the fun, understanding, and social connection on offer. Each session has a focus on cognitive and social stimulation, which is very beneficial for people living with dementia.

Yes. These classes can be aligned with your values and preferences. Our team members will take the time to learn your individual cultural and care needs so they are always considered. You may also access interpreting services if required.

Many older people feel uncertain about accepting help at first. That's a normal response, and it's worth taking seriously. A little extra social connection and support can make a big difference to wellbeing, without taking away independence. Our Activity Centre Coordinators and Officers take the time to understand each person's needs, preferences and routines, introducing services gradually.
