The Mind and Body Wellness program helps you focus on the present moment and make conscious choices that align with your values and goals. By learning simple yet powerful techniques, you'll gain tools to reduce stress, manage emotions, and stay grounded in what truly matters—improving your daily outlook and overall wellbeing.

This program breaks down the concept of mind and body wellness into clear, achievable steps, helping you understand what your body and mind need to thrive. With support from our expert team, you’ll take a proactive approach to your health, develop new habits, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.

You’ll learn to take charge of your health now—enhancing your wellbeing, reducing unnecessary worry, and improving your quality of life.

What's included?

Over 16 weeks, you’ll participate in weekly interactive sessions with a small, supportive group. You’ll also receive helpful resources and easy-to-use technology to guide you through your journey:

  • An iPad (on loan) and an iHealth device (yours to keep) to support learning, monitor sleep, and track physical activity.
  • A comprehensive program manual with useful information and take-home resources.
  • Setup support for internet and devices to ensure you’re confident and connected from the start.
  • Weekly sessions on key topics including emotional wellbeing, mindfulness, sleep, nutrition for brain health, staying active, and finding purpose.
  • Expert staff who provide ongoing guidance, technical support, and motivation.
  • A warm, inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and shared learning.

We have a variety of other Wellness for Independance Programs to keep you feeling well and living independently in your own home. These include tailored programs that can help with health issues such as Diabetes and Foot Wellness, Low Vision Wellness and Pain Management Wellness.

Eligibility criteria*

  • You need to be aged over 65 or over 50 for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders.
  • Some services may be available to people aged under 65.

How can I access this service?

You can access this service in several ways, depending on your needs and individual situation.
