We use a wide range of treatment techniques to restore movement and function, and work closely with you to prevent further complaints. Our aged care physiotherapy programs include personalised guidance and education so you can continue to live well at home.
We also provide balance exercise treatments to help you strengthen your muscles, improve your posture and enhance overall fitness so you can feel more confident in your mobility.

We provide a range of in-home and online physiotherapy services as part of our tailored care plan for older Australians, including;

Looking for more support and preventative health guidance? We offer a range of other allied health services to support your wellbeing and independence. These include occupational therapy; dietetics; podiatry; psychology, and social work.

- You need to be aged over 65 or over 50 for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders.
- Some services may be available to people aged under 65.

This service is delivered by registered physiotherapists who are experts in the structure of the human body and its movement. They are trained to diagnose and treat injuries and conditions that limit your mobility, to help you recover your function and prevent re-injury.

Physiotherapists and exercise physiologists are qualified to provide a range of services to help you improve your mobility, but in addition, physiotherapists have the expertise to provide individual hands-on treatment to assist you with your rehabilitation process.
Yes. Our physiotherapists will provide an initial assessment and work with you to create a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs.
Your physiotherapist can recommend exercise equipment that may help with your therapy. However, Support at Home funding generally does not fund exercise equipment. Mobility aids, such as walkers, are different and may be funded depending on your funding program and eligibility. Your physiotherapist can assess and prescribe mobility equipment where appropriate.
An initial assessment will be conducted to determine your health conditions and presenting issues so the physiotherapist can determine the most appropriate course of treatment. This may include massage therapy, but it is important to remember that this isn't always the most effective treatment for long-term improvements.
No, acupuncture isn't currently one of our service offerings.
If pain management is what you're after, our physiotherapists can talk you through other treatment options that may help, we also run a Pain Management Wellness program.
A physiotherapist can assess how you use the equipment and confirm whether it is safe and appropriate. However, they cannot complete an assessment to support reimbursement of for equipment you have already purchased privately. Exercise equipment is generally not funded through the ongoing Support at Home service budget.
Yes. This service can be aligned with your values and preferences. We will take the time to learn your individual cultural and care needs so they are always considered when making our recommendations. We will also encourage you to set meaningful goals and help you to achieve them. You may also have your preferred support person included or access interpreting services if required.
Many older people feel uncertain about accepting help at first. That's a normal response, and it's worth taking seriously. Physiotherapy can play an important role in improving mobility and strength, without taking away independence. Many clients find it helps them move safely and stay confident at home. We work with you and your loved one at their pace, and if they change their mind after starting, we'll always respect that. Our team members are trained to treat every client with dignity and respect.
