My loved one is reluctant to seek assistance. How can I reassure them about social support services?
Many older people feel uncertain about accepting help at first. That's a normal response, and it's worth taking seriously. A little extra companionship and connection can help your loved one feel more supported and engaged, without taking away independence. Many clients find it a genuinely welcome addition to their week. We work with you and your loved one at their pace, and if they change their mind after starting, we'll always respect that. Our team members are trained to treat every client with dignity and respect.
