Be prepared for Cyclone Alfred
Tropical Cyclone Alfred is currently affecting southeast Queensland northeast New South Wales. The cyclone itself could make landfall across these parts by Thursday as a Category 2 system with predictions of galeforce winds and up to 600mm of rain.
While the exact location of where it will make landfall is not yet known, we would like to remind you to be as prepared as possible for the potential impact.
To all our clients and families who may potentially be affected by Cyclone Alfred, please be assured we will keep you updated on any impact to your services.
The Queensland Government has some useful information to be prepared for natural disasters, as part of their ‘Get Ready Queensland’ resources. Here are some helpful links and we encourage you to read them and ensure you are as prepared as possible:
As always, we want to remind you not to undertake anything that is likely to pose a significant risk to your health, safety and wellbeing. And remember ‘If it’s flooded, forget it’.
Please take care, be prepared and stay as safe as possible.
