Benefits

Maintaining your personal care helps you to stay well, feel confident and get out and about.

There is no need to feel concerned about managing everyday tasks such as showering, toileting, grooming, dressing and taking the correct medication. We can help you feel your best and support you to maintain your independence.

  • Stay safe and prevent falls when dressing, showering and toileting.
  • Be confident that you’re taking the correct medication each day.
  • Be supported with the help of assistive products like shower chairs.

Yes of course you can. As a volunteer you have the right to choose the activities that you prefer to do. Together we will work on finding a role that is suitable for you.

integratedliving is grateful for any time volunteers can give, and the time you commit to volunteering is up to you. We understand many of our volunteers also have work, family and social commitments.

All volunteers are required to undergo a National Police Check and will be screened according to HR policies. There may be additional requirements, such as a Working with Children Check, depending on the role you are offered.

Some of the volunteer roles involve working with other volunteers. Others involve working with community members or staff. If you have a preference, let us know.

We also offer social events for volunteers throughout the year. You will receive invitations to attend these events, where you can meet other integratedliving volunteers.

integratedliving provide full training and mentoring for all volunteers.

Yes, we have opportunities for volunteers on weekends and evenings. Just let us know your preferences when you apply.

integratedliving will pay your mileage for approved volunteer travel or a fuel voucher will be provided to you. We will reimburse you for approved out-of-pocket expenses.

Due to privacy reasons this is not permitted. If your grandchildren or neighbour are over 18 years old, encourage them to become an integratedliving volunteer.
