Keeping connected has vital benefits to your health and wellbeing.  Our staff can pop in for a chat to your home and spend time with you doing activities of your choice – listening to music, reading, craft, games and other interests you might like to explore. 

Activities will help you feel connected to others and help you to enjoy lifelong hobbies or activities you have never tried before!

What's included?

Social support home visits can include;  

  • Staff attending your home to provide general conversation
  • Play games, do puzzles and enjoy activities
  • Support to undertake home-based hobbies and interests.

Eligibility criteria*

  • You need to be aged over 65 or over 50 for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders.
  • Some services may be available to people aged under 65.

This service is great for older people who live in remote areas or have family members that live too far to visit and are keen to enjoy regular social interaction.

Yes, this service can be aligned with your values and preferences. Our staff will take the time to learn your individual cultural and care needs so they are always considered. You may also access interpreting services if required.

This service is delivered by qualified Support Workers who are passionate about improving your quality of life and wellbeing so that you can continue to live, feel and be well.

Each visit can be up to two hours and you can request this service fortnightly.

Cleaning services are not provided as part of this service. However, our Home UpKeep service can cater to this request.
