Spread cheer in 2022 with our “Wave of Thanks” movement

Spread cheer this January and February with our “Wave of Thanks” movement

Pandemic fatigue is rife across Australia and the world currently. During times of burnout and prolonged fatigue, we can lose our energy and zest for life. To kick off 2022, amidst the ongoing COVID-19 challenges we face, we invite you to participate in our nationwide movement to acknowledge our hard-working health care workers. Their determination and spirit bring many a smile to our clients, particularly those living on their own, who without them delivering services would go days without speaking or seeing anyone.

For two years our teams across Australia continue to serve older people in regional, rural and remote communities. As pressures build during the global pandemic, we want to reassure our valued team members they are appreciated by us, their clients and their community.

During January and February, we ask that if you spot one of our branded cars or a staff member in uniform, give them a wave. If you are phone savvy, record a wave on video, or send us a photograph of you waving to  so we can share.

We will also be sharing stories on Facebook and Instagram of some of our health care workers and how they have coped during lockdown.

So, help us say thank you and let’s create Australia’s largest wave of thanks. Stay safe, stay kind. We are in this together.
