From the 18 May - 1 June we are asking for all our clients, their family and friends as well as the wider public to join us in giving a 'Wave of Thanks'.
Amid all the anxieties we have been feeling over the last number of weeks and may still feel, one thing has remained consistent – our care workers, working in the community.
Their determination and spirit bring many a smile to our clients, particularly those living on their own, who without them delivering services would go days with speaking or seeing anyone.
Our care workers made the decision to leave their families at home and to carry on working and now as restrictions start to lift and we continue to flatten the curve, it’s time to recognise their great work.
Over the next two weeks, we ask that if you spot one of our branded cars or a staff member in uniform, give them a wave. If you are phone savvy, record a wave on video, or send us a photograph of you waving and send it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or post on our integratedliving Facebook page so we can share.
If you have Facebook, you can also add a temporary Facebook profile frame to your picture. Simply click on your profile picture and right click. Select ‘add frame’ and then in the search bar at the top, type in ‘integratedliving’. Choose your frame and length you want it visible for and then click ‘done’.
So, help us say thank you and let’s create Australia’s largest wave of thanks. We are in this together.
