Stephen is a strategic people leader that works collaboratively across the business, focussing on building partnerships and networks that influence change together with implementing people strategies that are strongly aligned to the needs of the business.  

Stephen brings significant experience and expertise in driving transformational change, together with progressing people programs across the full employee life cycle, including employee engagement, coaching, succession planning, cultural transformation, organisational design, leadership development, talent management, performance management, enterprise negotiations, employee relations, compliance and project management.  Stephen also places a strong focus on the employee experience and ensuring support at an individual level.

The vision and purpose of the organisation is a critical motivation for Stephen, who has based his career on working in organisations where improving outcomes for Australian communities is at the heart of its purpose.  Stephen’s experience includes over 20 years’ experience at the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood and most recently at Spinal Life Australia.   

Stephen holds qualifications in Masters of Business (Employment Relations) and Bachelor of Science (Psychology) together with being a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is also a professional member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
